THE LAST HOUSE OF HORROR

Our team at ralph was brought in to revitalize Blumhouse Productions social media presence by creating authentic and honest content. Over the course of our relationship, I supervised the creation of dozens of pieces, for films such as Five Nights At Freddy's and Black Phone. My deep understanding of horror and how to manifest it was pivotal during the pitch and production processes.

For the Halloween series Behind The Screams, I built an ownable, yet repeatable motion bumper using Elastic's masterful theatrical ident, further cementing Blumhouse's identity as the last true house of horror.

 

Embergen was used for the smoke, Redshift was used for the final render and of course, horror is nothing without sound, so I built an unsettling and memorable soundscape to pair with it. I created much of the content for the ten assets, and the view counts were astronomical — Behind The Screams was viewed over 3.5 million times on Instagram and nearly 10 million times on TikTok.
